In these two solutions, we designed living arrangements that are more in tune with contemporary lifestyles. We focused on the living room and kitchen areas, which in Japan are often sacrificed (due to the fast-paced life outside the home, though this is now changing), as well as on providing various storage spaces. Both solutions completely redesign the interior architecture, giving the new tenant the feeling of living in a larger space that is better suited to their needs.

Comparable to the situation in Europe, Japan too has begun investing in restoration. Construction companies that find themselves with vacant residential blocks have realized that with small aesthetic and functional improvements, these properties become highly attractive on the market. rararà has undertaken a dual reconstruction project within a block in Hakuraku (a suburb of Tokyo).
