The layout recreated familiar environments—lobby, living room, office, and recreational spaces—reflecting IYOBE’s new “Joint Lab” showroom atmosphere. Warm pastel tones and natural materials invited comfort and closeness.
More than an exhibition, ENGAGE was conceived as a portal for dialogue, reviving a shared design sensibility diluted by mass production. By encouraging even small gestures of participation, the booth placed people at the center of the creative process.
IYOBE’s journey toward “shift design to people” begins here.

“ENGAGE” is the booth concept born from IYOBE’s and my shared vision to “shift design to people.” We believe design should be created with people, not imposed on them. Our goal was to build a space where visitors could see, touch, and shape products, eaving feedback, memories, and ideas while interacting directly with designers.
Designed with sustainability and interactivity in mind, the booth used recycled MDF and cork, and was divided into islands showcasing different designers’ work. Each product was accompanied by a description and QR code, allowing visitors to learn more and share their comments. A central corridor offered playful gadgets, such as folding postcards, alongside post-its and pencils so guests could leave notes on the walls, collectively building a mood board of impressions.
