The new façade needs to become a symbol recognized by everyone in the neighborhood for three reasons:

  1. To capture the attention of new customers and spark their curiosity.

  2. To give existing customers a sense of trust, showing that the facility values them by renewing the building.

  3. To become a local symbol that encourages other building owners to renovate their façades as well. This would lead to the revitalization of the entire neighborhood, benefiting everyone.

To create a strong new impression simply by changing the building's façade, we developed several different design concepts.
The main goal is to fundamentally transform the architectural impression of the exterior by altering the proportions and making the entrance more orderly and coherent.

Kevin Lynch, in his book The Image of the City, explains that a city is composed of five elements: paths, nodes, landmarks, edges, and districts. What we focus on are the landmarks, elements that stand out from their surroundings, possess clear and distinctive characteristics, and can be easily recognized and identified.

This building is used primarily for commercial purposes, such as restaurants and clubs. For that reason, its exterior appearance needs to be eye-catching and iconic. It must offer customers a new identity and a fresh image.
