KUP modifies the perception of space, altering its geometries through the interplay of light and the two semicircular forms. The lamp transforms its environment not merely through illumination, but through the carefully orchestrated shadows cast by its paired curves—creating distinct atmospheric conditions that redefine spatial boundaries.

Born as a bookstand, developed as a stationery accessory, KUP ultimately presents itself as a lamp. This lamp emerged through the study of shadows generated by coupling two symmetrical aluminum curves. Through these experiments, we identified and subsequently enhanced a triple variation of light: lateral, zenithal lower, and zenithal upper.
