
He didn't plan to become an architect. He was in IT. But when he realized the world he imagined couldn't exist without designing the buildings, furniture, and graphics to support it.
Architecture became the only tool he had.
Since moving to Japan, he's found the right atmosphere to develop his ideas: a hybrid model of Italian heaviness and Japanese lightness.
That's where the difference happens, and in differences, as individuals, we are united.

Born 1991, Treviso. Italian architect based in Tokyo.
Riccardo studied architecture at IUAV University in Venice, UPV/EHU in Spain and at University of Minho's School of Architecture in Portugal.
He earned dual degrees, a Master's and professional architect title, from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
He worked in Chile and Germany before relocating to Japan, where he launched "rikarudo design" in 2020.
Later on in 2023 he co-founded rararà studio.
